The purpose of this blog is to inspire a passion for wine similar to my own in my readers. I'm setting out to show my readers my own passion in the form of posts about making wine, drinking wine and exploring wine. I want to make wine fun and approachable while sharing information about the topic. This blog should never be boring and is intended to add some value for even experienced wine drinkers but to be accessible and understood by the novice as well. It is my hope that this blog will be different from every other wine blog out there because I intend this blog not to just be about my experiences but also about wine knowledge and imparting that knowledge to my readers.
As a senior Multidisciplinary Studies major at RIT with concentrations in Biomedical Sciences and Food & Wine, I've taken a number of wine courses to further my education in the subject I'm most passionate about. I'm soon going to be taking some certification courses offered through the Wine and Spirits Education Trust, starting at the Intermediate level. I feel the wine courses I've taken so far have given me a great foundation to go off of and am always looking forward to learning more about wine and working more with it.
Some of the courses I've taken so far include:
Wines of the World I
Wines of the World II
Wine Connoisseur
Food and Wine Pairing
Viticulture and Viniculture
Beverage Fermentation and Distillation
Marketing Beer, Wine and Spirits
Thank you for reading and most importantly- enjoy!
